I don’t know if I’ve posted this before but not long ago (infact, exactly a week ago) I received my brand new laptop. However, rather than buying a normal Windows based laptop I decided I’d go for a Apple Mac. Their current iteration of ibooks are really well spec’d. I mean, it’s got in-built bluetooth which is handy as well as wi-fi. My most favourite thing is though is MacOS. It’s built on a BSD platform called Darwin but it’s just the execution which I like.

I must say thought I’m really liking MacOS it just feels nicer than Windows and less “fussy” than your average Linux distro. I currently run all three types of operating systems and I prefer MacOS by far and I didn’t expect it. My desire to get an ibook mind comes from University where one of my lab partners brought in his girlfriends as his laptop didn’t do too well off the mains. The thing that got me hooked was Dashboard. It’s just too cool for words!

I guess you could say you’re looking at a convert!
