Yup, no sooner had I got myself a new laptop have a gone and got a new mobile phone. Less to say I ‘m chuffed with it as I have wanted the K750i for ages! The only annoying thing is that I still have to keep up my 3 Mobile contract as they won’t let me cancel early even though I have been with them for over a year. I know I should be able to but it’s a long story and to be honest, I’d rather forget about it. I mean that contract is up in February anyway so it’s not too far away.

Anyway, about the K750i, I haven’t actually used it for a full day obviously but it’s looking good, the camera is fantastic though which is one of the biggest reasons I wanted to get this particular phone. See I like photography however carrying my D70 is rather impractical and for a while I’ve wanted to get a smaller digital camera. The hitch there is the good ones are £250 and so the compromise is the K750i as it has a 2Megapixel camera and the test shots I’ve done so far are looking promising. So I’m rather looking forward to having this in my pocket and spotting something and taking a clear and good shot and posting it here. With any luck, this will start happening quite soon :)

As far as other, interesting news is concerned, Australia have qualified for the World Cup, which has pleased Cati as she supports any Australian national side; even during The Ashes! Still you have to admire her commitment! In fact, I must admit, I’m quite pleased the Aussies have qualified as they do have quite a good team with some well known players in the squad. In fact, with the current crop of players, I’m quite suprised they haven’t qualified in previous World Cup years. It also will provide an interesting conversation topic when Cati & I go over to Australia at Christmas.
